Rose Briere

BRIERE, Rose - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mom and grandmother at Sandfield Place on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the age of 100. Rose (Martin) Briere of Cornwall, former co-owner and co-founder of Briere & Gosling Travel. Beloved wife of the late Jack Briere. Loving mother of Guy (Sue) and Jacques. Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Julie) Nicholas, Lindsay Stevenson (Curtus) and great grandmother of Thomas, Anais, Amanda, Felicia and Layla. Predeceased by her parents Anthony Martin and Emma Samson, granddaughter Stephanie, one brother Donat Martin (Mimi), four sisters Alice Casselman (Alex), Cecile Marks (Ceril), Rita McDermid (Gerry) and Pauline Forbes (Jim). She will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the excellent care, dedication and compassion from Dr. Foley and the staff of Sandfield Place. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the spring.
