It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Shannon Adele Goncalves (née Menard) at the Ottawa General Hospital on Monday, February 19, 2024 at the age of 47. She now joins her baby girl Karrie Anne.
Dear daughter of John Bisson and Pauline Menard-Bisson. Loving wife of Thomas Goncalves. Cherished mother of Joseph “Joe” Goncalves and Brooke Goncalves. Treasured grandmother of Jasper Thomas Jacobs all of Cornwall.
Shannon will greatly missed by her special grandmother Rachel Menard her brother Caleb Bisson, her aunt Adele Mongeon (Pete), her uncle Eugene Menard, her mother-in-law Marion Goncalves (late Joe) and her sisters-in-law Patricia Billmer (Tim) and Heather Goncalves.
She will be dearly missed by her dearest friend Christine McEvoy, her many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members.
In keeping with Shannon’s wishes cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH, 20 SEVENTH STREET W, CORNWALL on FRIDAY MARCH 15, 2024 between the hours of 2:00PM and 4:00PM.
As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to CHEO or The Salvation Army, would be appreciated by the family.
