MACDONALD, Shirley (Mason) – Peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday March 7, 2015. She was 79. Former long time owners of the Anchor Motel. Loving wife of the late Robert (Bob) MacDonald. Cherished mother of Robi (Chico) Ouellette, Brenda MacDonald and Scott (Angie) MacDonald. Survived by one sister Leona Turcotte. Loving grandmother of Erica (Paul), Mallory (Dillon), Chad, Sara, and Ian (Celine) and great-grandmother of 10. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Leo and Ella (Delaney) Mason, and one daughter Rose Lynn mother of Ryan, Andrea and Nadine. Cremation Services entrusted to the care and direction of the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday March 13, 2015 at 6pm at the Army Navy Club, 14 Marlborough Street North, Cornwall. Rite of Committal, Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Hospice Cornwall, would be appreciated by the family.
