WELSH, Shirley - (Retired Personnel Administrator Zellers Department Store) - At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Saturday March 24, 2012. She was 82. Dear sister of Theresa Bergeron (late Benoit), Ronald Welsh both of Cornwall and Eileen Aquin (late Donald) of California. Special aunt to Robert Bergeron (Godchild), Shelly-Anne Jacobs and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Richard James and Teresa (Lapierre) Welsh, 4 brothers, Robert, Hubert, Richard "Dick" (Pat), James Welsh, 2 sisters, Rita and Zilda and her Godchild Terri-Lynn Aquin. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Wednesday from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm and on Thursday from 9 - 9:30am. Funeral Mass, Thursday March 29, 2012 at St. Columban's Catholic Church at 10am followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, St. Columban's Parish Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
