My condolences and sympathy; Ernie was always helpful on practical stuff when needed, but mainly a good companion with a dark sense of humour.

Our memories of time spent with Ernie at Baden in the early 60s could fill a book. He was outstanding among a group of outstanding characters. His stories kept us entertained both at work and play. My last memory of Ernie was at the WO's & SGT's Mess in Baden in 1991. I had arrived on a visit and just got to the Officer's Mess when I was summoned to the phone by the Manager. The voice at the other end was a blast from the past and Ernie demanded my presence at the table that now sits in 888 Wing Comox entrusted there for safekeeping. Every time I look at it I shall think of my Old Friend. Sleep well Ernie. My thoughts will also be with his family during this sad time. Les & Fran Al-Molky
