Tony was born on May 6, 1961 to Jim and Mary Manos in Los Angeles, California. His parents were thrilled that thirteen months later, his little sister, Catherine Marie was born, and he called her “Sister Baby”.
Tony and Cathie were baptized a year later together at St Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, and Tony always adored his Godparents, Nick and Theanna Panagiotis.
After the baptism, the Manos Family went immediately up to Papou Camperos's cabin in Lake Arrowhead California. Tony's love for Lake Arrowhead began as a little boy and grew to be one of his greatest passions. It was there that he spent every summer with his parents, sister grandparents Markos and Catherine Kotsikos, Uncle Nick and Big Papou Camperos. He especially loved it when the Manos cousins, came up to the lake, as well as the Lekas and Jarrett cousins too. He loved Family!
He was thrilled when as a young boy, he helped find the land where his parents and Uncle built their bigger Arrowhead house to take care of growing families and friends it was there that the Manos and Kotsikos families had a dock and a boat, and Tony's love of water and boats just grew. Of course another love was St. Sophia Camp on old Waterman Canyon Road at the foot of Lake Arrowhead.
In the city, the Manos Family first lived in Inglewood, where Tony loved his pre-school and began Elementary School. In 1970,the Manos Family moved to Torrance, California, where they were surrounded by Manos, Flokas, Skrumbis and Dalis cousins. They also had the Curtis Family, and all the community and friends surrounding St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church. It was a great place to grow up.
In Torrance, Tony loved West High School, and really excelled in all areas. He was in many school plays and received several leadership awards. He was Jr Class President, and Student Body President in his senior year. He graduated with honors as he proudly entered the University of Southern California.
He excelled in his many leadership roles at USC. He loved being a Yell Leader, and cheering the team on with spirit. He loved being a Tour Guide, and on the Student Council. Most of all he loved his Fraternity Brothers at Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and his many other USC friends.
He graduated from USC with honors in 1980, and became a member of Skull and Dagger Society, and remained active with dear friends his whole life.
Upon graduation, he began his long career in commercial real estate, and was very successful in many different positions.
In 1980 , the Manos Family moved toIrvine, where they were close to grandparents, and the Kotsikos, Jarrett and Lekas families. The Manos Family was among the first families to belong to St. Pauls Greek Orthodox Church in Irvine.
Tony loved traveling, especially to Hawaii, London, France, Italy, Greece, and many other places in Europe and the United States.
Tony married Sheryl Rados on November 12,1994. They made their home in Newport Beach, and they loved their boat Audacious. Tony and his Sher Bear took many cruises on their boat, and they especially loved going to Moonstone in Catalina.
In recent years, Tony was thrilled to buy the bigger house that he always loved at Lake Arrowhead. He loved it at Arrowhead and loved the house that was great for his whole family and friends.
Tony is survived by his family that he loved, his parents, his sister Cathie, his nephews Jimmy and Nicholas, Sheryl, Uncle Nick, and all his Kotsikos, Manos and other cousins, godparents and friends. May His memory Be Eternal.
