DeLores was born on March 16, 1926 in Moorhead, MN to Henry Snyder and Eva (Ellsworth) Snyder. She was the oldest of four daughters.
She married Niles Motschenbacher on July 16, 1946 in Kingsville, TX where he was serving in the Navy. They lived in Dilworth, MN until 1955 when they moved to Costa Mesa, CA. They had five children, one of whom died shortly after birth.
Later, after Niles passed away, she married Robert Klein on November 9, 1985 and they lived in Irvine, CA. Robert passed away in 1999. She remained in their Irvine home until her death.
As a young girl, DeLores had been fascinated with the movies and took great pleasure in working as an extra in a number of movies later in life. She loved to travel but also loved her home on the large greenbelt and enjoyed watching the squirrels and birds, particularly the hummingbirds that came to her patio. She was an avid Dodger fan. She looked forward to the daily newspaper crossword puzzle even in her 90s.
DeLores is survived by her children, Larry Motschenbacher, Dennis Motschenbacher and Susan Corbett. Her daughter, Linda Manlove, passed away just three days after her death, also of COVID-19. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. They all brought her much joy.
Arrangements for her care have been made through Pacific View Mortuary Memorial Park in Corona del Mar.
