I was so privileged to encounter his wisdom, grace, strength and positive outlook on life.

He had a profound impact on me and will remain to be my idol for good.  I am sure others think the same as he lived a full life and fulfilled all that were around him.
He is greatly missed but his legend continues in our hearts...

Le Patriarche nous a quitté. Ce départ m'a sincèrement attristée car "Doctor" a toujours été très présent dans ma vie en Iran. C'était un homme empli de sagesse, d'empathie, toujours prêt à venir en aide et profondément respectueux des autres. Il m'a beaucoup aidée et jamais je ne l'oublierai.

Needless to say how much in our family we loved him and admired him. He was a great big brother to my dad and a great uncle to us.
He lived life fully and always reminded us to do the same. Once I wrote down on my agenda a thing he always used to say to me on the phone: "hamisheh khoshbeen va omidvar bash va be khoda tavakool kon". His joy of life has been spread to many hearts and that is a great legacy to left behind.

Although I did not know Doctor Khamnei  well, I have great admiration for him.   I last spoke with him in Palm Springs about 10 years ago.  His credentials were so impressive.  However,  his kind voice and genuine interest in me as a person is what I remember.  May we all be as blessed as Doctor Khamnei was.   My condolences and thoughts are with his family.    Dr. Cassra Khamnei.
