Feng Jung Huang

Mr. Huang was a successful, compassionate, caring, and generous family man and business man. From a young age he took on the responsibility of taking care of his family throughout his life. He graduated from the prestigious Dan Jiang University in Taiwan and from there worked his way up to become the exclusive National Representative for the Dupont Company; he rose to inspiring heights of success with one of the largest companies in Taiwan.

Mr. Huang married the gracious Ms. Yu Chau Chu and they were blessed with five children, Frank, Susan, Maria, Daniel, and Peter. Ultimately, his family was most important to him and he decided to move them to Honolulu, Hawaii to provide the best opportunity possible for his children. There, from the design, to the engineering, to the construction, Mr. Huang led the whole process of building a beautiful home for his family. In this home, all five of his children graduated from high school and went on to pursue higher education and become successful professionals.

In 1985, Mr. Huang started the Durabag company, importing and distributing plastic bags. Through his vision and commitment he grew this company to an incredibly successful international enterprise. He eventually expanded his company and moved his family to Orange County, California. His vision and legacy is carried on by his children and his grandchildren and continues as a successful business today.

Mr. Huang always valued keeping his family close and spending time with them. With ten grandchildren, every birthday and holiday was a family filled house with much joy and his favorite hobby, singing karaoke. He instilled these values in his children and grandchildren as they will continue to value the importance of a close family.

Mr. Huang’s father was a founding member of the True Jesus Church and left Mr. Huang with a devotion and strong faith to do God’s work. His life was always full of God’s care because he was always loved, honored and respected by his church brothers and sisters.

Every man leaves a legacy, and Mr. Huang’s was that of devotion, of compassion, of perseverance, of generosity, and of love. Although he has passed, this spirit and these values will be carried on by his family and all those who love him.
