Grace C. Browne

Grace was born in Morris, IL, the youngest child of 5 children born to Harold and Lucy Chapman. It was when she was working as an aide at Geneva Hospital that she met the love of her life, Dean Browne. They married on July 1, 1950. Both Dean and Grace wanted a large family and had 7 children. Grace was a devoted mother and did and extraordinary job of raising her children. Grace and her family moved from Geneva, IL. to Whittier, CA. in 1961. She later retired with her husband in Camarillo, CA. and then moved to Laguna Woods, CA. to be close to her children.

Grace was predeceased by her daughter, Laura Peffer. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Dean Browne and 6 children, Christine, Steven, Thomas, Mary, James, and Patricia. She also leaves behind the

spouses of her children, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She did indeed fulfill her dream of having a large family

Services will be held at Our Lady Queen of Angeles Catholic Church 2046 Mar Vista, Newport Beach CA on April 1st at 11 am. Inurnment to follow at Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary in Newport Beach.
