He received his formal education through University of California Berkeley, where he was a business major.
Greg married the love of his life, Jeannette in 1974, and went on to raise their family in Newport Beach.
Greg spent his career in the automotive industry as a car dealer. In 1966 after graduating college he worked for his father working up through the ranks at Bob Spreen Cadillac. He then went on to build Spreen Honda in 1984 along with other dealerships. In his leisure time he loved spending time with his family and friends. Greg had a passion for adventure and deep sea fishing that he loved so very much. He also loved golf, tennis, snow skiing and water skiing. Greg was all about living a fun, adventurous and fulfilling life.
He and Jeannette traveled the world together. They had the love for each that most people dream about.
Greg is survived by his wife Jeannete, his two sons, Chet and Jeff, his 5 grandchildren, Kayla, Connor, Avery, Hudson and Hunter.
