Gregg grew up in West Allis, WI where he graduated from Nathan Hale High school in 1988. He swam in high school on a strong team that competed at the state level, where he played an intricate role in his team’s success. Gregg was a lifeguard for Milwaukee County, where he spent summers on the pool deck and evenings playing water polo in the lifeguard corps competitive league. After high school he attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison where he studied history and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity where he made many of his greatest, life-long friends. He graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in history and began his career in finance as a temporary employee with Sunstone financial. Gregg hit his stride within the world of finance and quickly began to climb the corporate ladder with a series of promotions placing him in a prominent position with UMB financial. In 2006, Gregg took the opportunity of a lifetime, starting a new chapter of his life working for PIMCO financial in Newport Beach, CA. This was a big move for Gregg, trading chilly winters in Milwaukee for the beach and sun in Southern California. Gregg continued to excel in the financial industry with PIMCO where he became a Senior Vice President, traveling the globe to develop business contacts within the industry. In 2020, Gregg transitioned out of the fast-paced financial world, leveraging his keen eye for detail into a new business venture within interior design. Gregg enjoyed his time working in interior design, but in 2023, a new opportunity arose that allowed him to begin a new career with Project Food Box, an organization that supplies fresh produce to underserved communities.
