Joe L. Beaver

Joe L. Beaver was born to Frances and Oliver Beaver on the evening of August 6, 1936 in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. He was the third boy and in time, three sisters followed. After a flood in 1943 and a tornado in 1945, the Beaver family soon moved to the farming community of Brentwood in Northern California. After High School, Joe put himself through college and earned a BA degree in Accounting. He then went to work for Dow Chemical in Antioch, California. Drafted into the Army circa 1960, Joe served his country in our nation’s capital. Upon his honorable discharge, he began his career with United Can Company in Fullerton, California. Thereafter, Joe happily met the love of his life, Micki. They were married on September 15, 1973 and made their home in Newport Beach, California. In retirement, Joe and Micki bought a second home in the Paradise of Honolulu, Hawaii. Joe was a good man with much integrity and generosity. He was a role model for the entire family. Joe will continue to be loved and cherished as he was in life. His spirit and our memories of him will comfort us and remain in our hearts forever.
