Ken is survived by his wife, Georgia, his sons Kenny and Steve, along with their wives, Jeni and Leah, as well as his seven incredible grandchildren. And now he has joined his youngest son, Philip, in Heaven.
Those who knew Ken were well aware of his love for classic cars, dirt bikes, and NHRA drag racing. Over the years, he especially loved his 1966 Chevelle Supersport, his 1956 Chevy Bel Air, and his 1965 Dodge Dart. More importantly, those who knew him were always drawn to his generous and giving spirit, his laughter, and his natural ability to make everyone around him laugh.
Ken’s professional life was spent in the retail tire business where he worked for Firestone Tire for 23 years and finishing his career at Parkhouse Tire before retiring.
Ken also proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine, serving in the 1st Marine Division, and fought in The Vietnam War in 1968 and 1969.
Ken was a loving husband, an amazing father, and the best Papa Ken to his granddaughters and Grandpa to his grandsons. He loved his family fiercely, and always put the needs of others before his own.
The family takes comfort in knowing that as a Christ follower, Ken is now at peace in the arms of Jesus for eternity.
