

Ms. Taylor was born in Chicago, Illinois. She has been a resident of southern California for approximately 35 years. Lisa worked in the arts for a number of years before entering the electronics industry at Rand Technology in the early 1990’s. She then started her own company, NexGen Digital, in 1998, which she enjoyed for 15 years. A life-long entrepreneur, she began her latest business, the CrashLabs, in Costa Mesa, CA, a coworking space and event center, where she expressed her great passion for startups and other early-developing entrepreneurs and their businesses. Above all, Lisa would always say her greatest accomplishment and passion in life was that of being mother to her son, Indigo Taylor-Noguera.
Lisa Taylor was predeceased by her father, Charles Franklin Cortez in the early 1970s. Ms. Taylor is survived by her son, Indigo Taylor-Noguera, 23, of Newport Beach, CA; her mother, Miriam Bitner; step-father, Richard Bitner; brother, Shane Bitner, all of Desert Hot Springs, CA; a sister, Penny Cortez Casey and niece, Emily Casey of Chicago, IL; and aunt, Ruth Finger, of Victorville, CA.
Memorial services for Lisa Taylor will be held at the Neighborhood Congregational Church of Laguna Beach, on St Anns St., Laguna Beach, CA, 92651 on Saturday, April 9, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
