Lois Linsman Brown

Lois was born on March 25, 1933 in Omaha Nebraska, the daughter of Rose (Guttman) and Morris Linsman. She had one brother, Arnold Linsman.

Lois attended Central HS in Omaha, NE and the University of Illinois.

Lois met her husband, James Edward Brown through a mutual friend in 1957. They married at the Beverly Hills Hotel on January 19, 1958. They raised three beautiful children, Douglas, Peter and Suzy. They were married for 61 years until Jim passed away in 2019.

Lois enjoyed shopping, entertaining, gifting, and traveling. She participated in many activities including tennis, skiing, hiking, horseback riding, and golf.

Lois was an extremely generous person. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Her family and friends were extremely fortunate to have had her in our lives.

Lois is survived by her 3 children, Douglas Brown, Peter Brown, Suzy Kolb, her son in law, Rainer Kolb, her 3 Grandsons, Steven Brown, Daniel Brown, Joshua Brown, and her daughter in law Janet Brown. She was preceded in passing by her husband Jim Brown in 2019, her Granddaughter, Kaleen Rose Dunlap Brown in 2017, her brother Arnold Linsman in 1995 and her parents.

Lois was laid to rest next to her husband at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar, California on April 18, 2025.
