Peter Matthew Kleist

Pete was lovingly brought into this world by Jacqueline and Charles Kleist on September 13th, 1964. His happy childhood years with his brother, Erich and sisters Rebecca and Lindsay were spent in Illinois.

A family move brought Pete to California at the start of his high school years. It was here that Pete graduated from El Dorado High School. He continued his education and was a graduate of California State University Fullerton.

While Pete’s first job was a paper boy with a paper route, his 22 year adult career was in Probation. It was in the Probation arena that Pete met the love of his life, Lynn Kiehlbauch. Pete and Lynn married on August 29,1998. They joyfully welcomed their son, Zachary, to their lives on August 25, 2000.

Pete was a dedicated father and enjoyed attending all of Zachary's many sporting events. As a family they enjoyed camping and spending time with friends.

Pete had touched the lives of all who knew him. He was well respected and loved by family, friends, and colleagues. He is most known for his quick wit, helping hand, and genuine caring for others.

Pete is survived by his wife Lynn, son Zachary, brother Erich, and sister Lindsay.

Pete is much loved and will be missed beyond words.
