Dear Marianne,

I hope this finds you in good spirits as we remember and celebrate the truly extraordinary life of Sandbar. While it's impossible not to feel a touch of sadness at his passing, I am writing to share how Sandbar's life has filled mine with joy and gratitude, and how he will continue to inspire and uplift me.

Thinking of our street without Sandbar brings a pang of longing, yet it also brings a flood of happy memories. I remember the times we were invited into your welcoming home, the laughter we shared, the stories exchanged, and the bond that was built between our families. It was always clear that your and Sandbar's door and heart were open wide to my mother and me.

Sandbar wasn't just a neighbor; he was a cornerstone of our community, a beacon of warmth, generosity, and acceptance. The mark he left on our lives is indelible and I am grateful for these cherished moments we had.

His light continues to shine brightly in our hearts, and as we reflect on his life, I can't help but smile at the thought of his kind spirit, his joyful laughter, and his ever-present willingness to lend a helping hand. The beauty of Sandbar's life lies not in the years, but rather in the love he shared, the people he touched, and the community he built.

In the spirit of his unwavering kindness, I want to let you know that we are here for you. Whether it's sharing a favorite story about Sandbar, helping with meals, or just offering a listening ear, we want to extend the same kindness to you that Sandbar always showed us.

Though we will miss Sandbar, we will celebrate his life, keeping his memory alive in the stories we share and the love we hold in our hearts. In our shared remembrance, let's smile, laugh, and remember Sandbar as the incredible soul he was.
