

Alicia Balderas Cuellar was called by the Lord to Heaven’s gates to enter in his eternal care on January 1, 2017. Alicia was born March 14, 1932 in Hebbronville, Texas to the late Filiberto Balderas and Paula G. Garcia.
Alicia was a member of El Divino Salvador Presbyterian Church, Corpus Christi, Texas where she sang in the choir. Many will remember her as the Office Manager in the family business. She was a hardworking, caring and generous person. She was also known for her fabulous cooking.
Alicia is preceded in death by her husband, Ocampo R. Cuellar.
She is survived by two children; two grandchildren and one-great-grandchild: her son, Carlos O. (Helene B.) Cuellar of Corpus Christi, Texas; her daughter, Cynthia C. (Bernard G.) Garcia of Corpus Christi, Texas; Grandson, Travis N. (Norma) Cuellar and their daughter, Amari J. Cuellar from McAllen, Texas, Granddaughter, Lisa R. Bailey-Cuellar of Corpus Christi, Texas; surviving sisters and one brother, Dora Acevedo, Elma Cantu, Rosa Saenz, brother, Roberto Valderaz and numerous nephews and nieces.
A Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Memory Gardens Chapel.
In Celebration of our mother’s life, her favorite color was GREEN. If you would like to wear GREEN in her honor please feel free to do so.
