Amelia F. Ramirez

Amelia will always be remembered as a devoted catholic, her love for working and making flower arrangements, her great love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her great devotion for praying her daily rosary. She was a member of Cursillos and Christ the King prayer group.

Amelia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Guadalupe M. Ramirez, Sr. and one sister, Velia Canales.

Amelia is survived by her three daughters, Gloria (Pete) Gonzales and Rosario Garcia both of Corpus Christi, Texas, Patricia (Troy) Tijerina of Petronila, Texas; sons, Guadalupe (Susan)Ramirez Jr. of Robstown, Texas and Alberto (Cindy) Canales of Cleburne, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Public visitation will be on Monday, July 4, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with an interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
