

Arturo Alfaro, 76, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on November 21, 2025. He was born on February 11, 1949, in Laredo, Texas. Arturo graduated from Bruny High School and later earned a welding certificate from Del Mar College. He married the love of his life, Josefa Gallegos Alfaro, in Monterrey, Mexico.
Arturo dedicated his career to his trade, proudly working as a welder with the Local 74 Boilermaker Union. He was a hardworking man whose skills and commitment made a lasting impact on all who worked alongside him.
In his free time, Arturo enjoyed some of life’s simplest pleasures—fishing, cheering on his favorite boxing and football events, and spending cherished weekends barbecuing with his family. Those who knew him will remember his warm presence, steady hands, and the joy he found in bringing loved ones together.
Arturo is preceded in death by his parents, Agustin Alfaro and Maria Guadalupe Ramirez,
Arturo is survived by his beloved children, Agustin Alfaro, Jessica Alfaro, Ruby Ann Alfaro, and Arturo Alfaro, Jr.; as well as his by his adored grandchildren, Alex Lee Rojas, Adam Garcia, Jr., Joseph Garcia, Jakob Andrew Alfaro, Arturo Greyson Alfaro, Angel Julian Lopez, and Ariella Rosa Lee Lopez. Also surviving him are his brothers and sisters, Irma Alfaro, Ramiro Alfaro, Jose Alfaro, and Alma Alfaro.
Arturo will be deeply missed by all who loved him, but his memory, love, and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Funeraria Del Angel, located at 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX, 78405, on December 10, 2025, starting at 10:00 am.
A Holy Rosary will be recited at the same location on December 10, 2025, beginning at 12:30 pm.
The committal service will take place at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, situated at 9974 I-37, Corpus Christi, TX, 78410, on December 10, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
