Arturo "Art" Gutierrez

Arturo Gutierrez, 63, of Corpus Christi passed away on April 3, 2022. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 1, 1959. He married Dora Villarreal on June 25, 1983. Arturo had a long career as a truck driver and driving instructor for Del Mar College. He was a member of Saints Cyril and Methodius Church. He had a great passion for making BBQ, watching the Cowboys play, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

His daughter, Rachel Ann Gutierrez; parents, three brothers, and one sister preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Dora V. Gutierrez; children, Santos Gutierrez, Consuelo (Gerald) Medina, Arturo Gutierrez, Jr., Carlos Gutierrez, and Roman Gutierrez; grandchildren, Nora Gutierrez, Lorena Gutierrez, Iris Escamilla, and Gianna Medina; two brothers, and five sisters.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 10, 2022 beginning at 5:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 11, 2022 at Saints Cyril and Methodius Church. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
