Arturo Rendon

Art attended West Oso High School and in his adult life worked for Corpus Christi Independent School District Transportation for several years. Art was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. He was known for his comical joking with friends and family. He was a very spiritual person; he loved music and was an avid fisherman.

Art was preceded in death by his beloved stepfather, Manuel S. Nieto and son, Rey Andrew Rendon. Art is survived by his mother, Maria De Jesus Nieto; children, Lilian M. Craig and Arturo C. Martinez. He also leaves behind his brother, Hilario Rendon and wife Lucy; Sisters Martha Scott, Irene Flores, Anna Basurto, Lucy Garcia and his grandchildren, Camille M. Craig and Barrett H. Craig.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Arturo C. Martinez and Hilario E. Rendon, Jr.
