Ashley Jane Evans

Ashley was born May 21, 1992 and became part of her forever family in 2000. She was well loved as our daughter, granddaughter and sister. She was the treasured aunt of 6 nieces and 2 nephews.

Ashley taught us about compassion and inspired us with her resilient spirit. Her sense of humor and her giant smile brought much joy to our family.

Ashley was loved by many teachers, aides, classmates, therapists, nurses, doctors, and friends. While she will be deeply missed, we all celebrate her being made new and whole in the presence of our Savior.

Ashley is survived by her parents, Cathey and Greg Evans; her brothers, Jason Evans and Chad Evans; her grandparents, Lydia Cathey Schooley and Barbara and Dan Evans; her nieces and nephews, Alaina, Jayden, Kaya, Mariah, Meagan, Alazae, Elisha, and Truman.

Ashley Jane was preceded in death by her papa, Lewis Schooley, who we are sure, is delighted to be the one to welcome his granddaughter home.

On Saturday, June 27, 2015, we will gather to celebrate the life of Ashley and all that she meant to our family and community. Memorial services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, at 4:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the chapel.
