Aurora G. Canales, age 68 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away February 5, 2015. Aurora was born October 8, 1946 to Adam Guzman and Julia Charcas Guzman. Aurora was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She survived by her beloved husband of 48 years Fortunato Canales; her three children, Nato Canales Jr., Jennifer E. Canales, and Debra L. Canales; four grandchildren, Savanna R. Canales, Hailey A. Sims, Clayton A. Sims and Lauren T. Sims; one brother Abel Guzman; four sisters, Mary Alice Figueroa, Angelica McWihirter, Alma Vela and Adelina Arredondo.
The family will be receiving friends Sunday February 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Cage-Mills Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Cage Mills Funeral Home Chapel
