Aurora Vargas Donahue

Aurora enjoyed being with friends and family. She was a seamstress which was also her passion. She loved cooking for everyone. She will always be remembered for the unconditional love she gave her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar P. Donahue, Jr.; her children, Oscar P. Donahue III, Christopher Donahue; her daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Donahue; her parents Guadalupe and Jesusa Montez and siblings Mary Alicia Colunga and Pedro Vargas.

Aurora will be greatly missed by her children, Aurora (Arturo Sr.) Ochoa, Rose M. Donahue, Ronald (Letty) Donahue, Elizabeth (Edward) Flores and Richard Donahue; her daughter-in-law Elida Donahue; her 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; brother, Guadalupe (Sandy) Montez; half siblings Frances Villarreal, Blanca Barbosa, Hector and Carlos Vargas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on December 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3350 South Alameda, Corpus Christi, TX 78411. Holy Rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m. and continue with a Holy Mass to be held at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
