Billie is preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Marie Nunes.
Billie is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mayumi Wright; children, Tony Wright, Billie Wright, Jr. (Twila), and Hiromi Campbell (Jay); 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jerry Wright and Bobby Wright.
Billie served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 and retired in 1979. He met his beloved Mayumi in Japan, married, and raised three children in the Corpus Christi area. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being with family and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all.
Memorial Graveside Service will be held at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
