

Bruce Garion Dansby, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Deborah Ann Dansby, and parents, Bruce Garion Dansby, Sr., and Leotha Talfaria Dansby.
Bruce was born in Nacogdoches, Texas on July 17, 1954. He attended public school in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from West Oso High School in 1972. After 31 years, he retired from JM Supply Company, Inc. in 2021.
Throughout his life, Bruce exemplified integrity, compassion, and resilience. He approached every challenge with determination and grace, while inspiring others with his optimism and positive attitude. His commitment to his family and community was unparalleled, and his generosity knew no bounds.
Bruce was a true pillar of strength, offering guidance, support, and unconditional love to all who crossed his path. Whether through his comforting words, heartfelt gestures, or infectious laughter, he touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on the world.
In addition to his remarkable character, Bruce was known for his passion for country life. He never missed an opportunity to ride to Runge or Hallettsville for a weekend of hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He had a zest for adventure and a curiosity for the world around him, always eager to learn and explore.
He is survived by his loving and devoted daughters, Kendra Dansby and LaTonya Dansby; grandsons, Garion Dansby, Jayden Dansby, and Kyree Murphy; brothers, Donnell Dansby (Karen) and Adrian Dansby; brother-in-law, Leon Kitchen (Vickie); and 13 nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Bruce will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow that same day at 2 PM. Entombment will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
