Carlos Martinez Jr.

Carlos Martinez, Jr., 58, passed away on November 3, 2017. He was born on March 11, 1959 to Carlos Martinez, Sr and Armandina C. Perez in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was employed by Keetch Motors. Carlos was a loving father and he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson bike and loved going to the rallies in his Harley. He will always be remembered for his big heart and his love of bike riding. Carlos was a happy go lucky person that loved to hang out with family and friends. He loved fishing with his brothers, son and nephews. He loved playing pool and great visits with the Budweiser girls. Carlos was employed at Keetch Motors for 10 years and enjoyed repairing cars and loved listening to oldies music and dancing. He is preceded in death by his father, Carlos Martinez Sr.; paternal grandmother, Carmen Martinez; paternal grandfather, Sixto Martinez Sr.; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Martinez Castillo; maternal grandfather Jose A. Castillo Sr. Carlos is survived by mother, Aramndina C. Moises Perez; sisters, Maria (Tom) Hale, Diana (Amador) Uriostegui, Thelma Medina-Soliz (Martin); brothers, Rene (Arlene) Martinez, David (Liz) Martinez, Eleazar Martinez, Javier Perez and Marcos Perez; also leaves behind his daughter, Melissa (Tito) Ramos and son, Carlos Martinez III; 2 grandchildren, numerous, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
