Carmen Marin

Carmen Marin, 66 of Corpus Christi, TX, peacefully went home to be with our Lord Jesus on July 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Juanita Morales and Raul Morales Sr. On October 28, 1957, in Laredo, TX.

Carmen was a beloved wife and a cherished mother and grandmother who was the heart of her family. Her deep love for her family was evident in everything she did. She lived a selfless life full of grace, kindness, and humor and was known for her unwavering faith in God. She was a nurturing and devoted mother to her three children: Jonathan, Laura and Robert James. She was also the proudest grandmother of two beautiful grandbabies, Madeline and Josephine.

Carmen enjoyed sewing and gardening as well as tending to her home. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and traveling with her husband, Robert. She cherished every moment spent with them. Her faith and love touched the lives of so many. She will forever be remembered for her compassion, generosity, and spirit.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Marin, her beloved children, Jonathan Marin (Rosita Ramirez) from San Antonio, TX, Laura (Gabriel) McGuinness from Austin, TX, Robert James Marin (Jessica Torrey) from Corpus Christi, TX and her adored grandchildren, Madeline and Josephine McGuinness. She is also survived by stepmother, Isabel Morales and siblings Gabriel (Rosy) Morales, Elena Morales, Mary (Tony) Navarro, Reyes (Mark) Mosqueda & Jesse Morales along with numerous extended family and friends. She joins in Heaven her mother, Juanita Morales, father, Raul Morales Sr. and brother, Raul Morales Jr.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm the same evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Vivian Mission Catholic Church - Petronila, 3516 FM 665, Robstown, Texas on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
