Caroline E Trube

Caroline Trube passed away peacefully on December 30th at the age of 95. Caroline’s passions in life included her love for her family, pets, close friends and church. She was a longtime member of St Johns United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi. She and her husband Bud joined St. Johns after moving to Corpus Christi in 1965 where numerous remarkable friendships were formed over the years. She started a second career in 1971 with Liechtenstein’s in sales which later became Frost Brothers and retired in 1982. She was a devoted mother of 3 and wife of 54 years to her husband who served in the Navy for 28 years.

Survivors include son Alan Trube and wife Kuo-Yu of San Antonio; granddaughters, Rachel Trube of Austin and Richelle Trube of Dallas; son Gary and wife Lynn of North Carolina; grandsons Blake and Mark and 2 great grandsons of North Carolina; grandson Brian, wife Monica and granddaughter Madelyn of Corpus Christi and grandson Brandon and wife Erica of Hunstville, Texas. Preceded in her by death are her husband Alfred G, Trube (1999) and second son Brant (2007).

At Caroline’s request no special public service will be held other than special mention at Sunday services on January 8th at St. Johns on Alameda.
