Carolynn Nanette Perkins

Carolynn graduated from Corpus Christi High School, she received a Bachelor of Education and Literature from Southwest Texas State and a Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A and I University. She was married to Marvin N. Perkins on April 19,1957.

Carolynn had a career in Education and Consulting for Corpus Christi ISD for 34 years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. She was a Godly Christian woman who loved the LORD. She had a passion for Missions, taught Sunday School, Girls in Action and led Women on Missions for many years.

She is survived by her children Diane Rodriguez, Nancy (Alfred) Quesada and Robert (Mary) Perkins, her grandchildren Bryan Rodriguez, Brenton (Jira) Rodriguez, Daniel (Danielle) Quesada, Andrew Quesada, Benjamin Quesada, and Ryland Perkins and 6 great grandchildren. Her brothers and sister are Bobby (JoAnne) Rowley, Russell (Jane) Rowley and Susan Darst and many nieces, nephews, and cousins she loved.

She is preceded in death by her spouse Marvin N. Perkins, her father and mother Roy and Lucille Rowley, her Aunt Elizabeth Frensley, Aunt Izabell Davenport and Uncle Eddie Reeves.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Second Baptist Church, 6701 South Staples St., Corpus Christi, TX. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX.
