It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cristobal Rodriguez Jr. (CROD) on January 30th, 2025. Cristobal was a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, coach, cousin, and friend. His presence was a gift to all who knew him, leaving an incredible legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories.
Cristobal was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Reymundo and Clara Rodriguez; and his maternal grandparents, Roman and Dominga Hernandez. He was also preceded by his dear uncle, Robert Hernandez; and aunt, Mary Alice Garcia; Cristobal’s nieces, Tori Rene Pena and Serena Marie Nava.
He is lovingly survived by his devoted parents, father, Cristobal (Yolanda) Rodriguez, and mother, Rose Marie Banda; as well as his cherished common-law partner, Danielle Ramirez; his children, Cristobal Isaiah Rodriguez, Kayleen Alexis Rodriguez, and Kylie Marie Rodriguez, were his pride and joy, and they will forever carry his spirit in everything they do.
Cristobal's love for his family was limitless, and he was deeply loved in return by his siblings, brothers Arturo (Beatrice) Rodriguez, Christopher Rodriguez, Rock Ray Rodriguez, and sister, Roxann (Juan) Pena. As an uncle, he showered his nieces and nephews with affection, and his many cousins were blessed to have him in their lives.
Cristobal's heart was as big as his smile, and his kindness touched the lives of all who knew him. He shared an extraordinary bond with his best friend and loyal companion, Bruno. Together, they were inseparable—partners in crime, through thick and thin. Their friendship was a testament to the depth of Cristobal's heart and his unwavering loyalty. Bruno was more than a pet; he was family, and they will forever be remembered together.
Cristobal’s passion for coaching young athletes shined brightly, where he inspired and guided them with love and dedication. He cherished the simple joys of life—like playing pool on Wednesday nights with friends, a tradition that brought him laughter and connection. An avid fan of golf, baseball, and football, Cristobal found immense joy in these activities, but nothing brought him more happiness than barbequing with family and friends. His energy and laughter were the heartbeat of every gathering, and his ability to make every moment unforgettable will be sorely missed by all.
Cristobal’s legacy of love, generosity, and joy will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. He was a father, brother, son, coach, nephew, cousin, and friend—one who touched countless lives with his infectious spirit and unwavering love. His absence leaves a hole that will never be filled, but his memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who carry it.
