Clara G. Rodriguez

On the morning of December 27, 2020, Clara Garcia Rodriguez, from Corpus Christi, TX passed away at the age of 90 in her home. She passed according to her wishes, in her home and surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymundo Rodriguez that passed away in 2006.

She is survived by her 13 children: eight sons; Edilfonso Rodriguez (Aurora) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ralph Rodriguez (Diana) of Austin, Texas, Ruben Rodriguez of Harlingen, Texas, Cristobal Rodriguez (Yolanda) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ricardo Rodriguez (Maggie) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Roberto Rodriguez (Alma) of Houston, Texas, Rodrigo Rodriguez (Ana) of Dallas, Texas, and Rogerio Rodriguez (Linda) of San Antonio, Texas; five daughters, Gracie Rodriguez (Guadalupe) of Freer, Texas, Yolanda Gomez (Jesus), Estella Garcia (Hector), Diana Maldonado (Roel) and Esmeralda Cosio (Rick) all from Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by fifty-three (53) grandchildren, eighty-seven (87) great-grandchildren and fourteen (14) great-great grandchildren.

Clara was a homemaker that helped raise many of her grandchildren. She was a God fearing woman who was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved to garden and spend time with her family, especially family game nights. She will be missed dearly by everyone.

Services for Clara will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Public viewing will be from 8:30 – 9:30 with funeral services beginning immediately after at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
