Concepcion "Connie" O. Garcia

Concepcion was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Enrique R. Garcia. She was a neighborhood icon and was well known throughout the community where she was involved in various social works. After retiring, she worked at the Ronald McDonald House for several years. She enjoyed participating in the water aerobic activities at the YWCA. Being a family oriented woman, she was always willing to help those in need. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her family: Enrique (Trini) Garcia, Jr., Angela (Hector) Garcia, Janie G. Tiblier, Mary (Chris) R. Gerniottis and Mandie Boyden; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
