Corina Garcia Cruz

In her younger years, Corina was an avid Bowler where she even competed on live television. She went to school for Cosmetology and was a great seamstress, making all her girls’ clothes when they were young, and she was also a great cook. Corina was also a coach for the Little Miss Kickball Winning State Championship. Corina collected baseball cards because she loved her Atlanta Braves. She was self-motivated and always had her kids in all types of sports and band.

Corina was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Maria De Leon, and her 2-month-old baby boy, Victor Lionel De Leon. She is survived by her sister, Lupita Barrera, and her children, Yolanda (Jesse) Garza, Norma (Mario Sr) Salinas, Victor (Melissa) De Leon, Doris (Joe) Tijerina, and Michelle Saeger. By her grandchildren, Yvonne (Roman) Lopez, Mario Jr (Yoli) Salinas, Jessica (Joe) Vierra, Christopher (Stephanie) Salinas, Joe Jr (Gabriella) Tijerina, Joshua (Courtney) Villarreal, Victor Cody De Leon, Jeremy (Bianca) Tijerina, Jordan Saeger, Lauren Saeger, Ryan De Leon, and Katherine Saeger. Her great-grandchildren, Krista Lopez, Aidan, Blake, Calix, Madelyn Vierra, Mario III, Mason, Logan, Lionel Salinas, Alexandria, and Parker Belle Tijerina.

Private funeral services will be held.
