

She was born January 27, 1933 in Hebbronville, Texas to Gerardo Leal and Genoveva De Los Santos Leal.
Crisanta was known for her beautiful smile, sense of humor and her love of dancing. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking, especially tamales and pan de polvo. She was an avid gardener and expressed her creativity through her arts and crafts. She once owned Crisanta’s Floral and Catering and was once an active member of the Circulo Social Mexicano and the American Legion. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Homero Ybañez, Sr.; son, Homero Ybañez, Jr.; brothers, Beto, Horacio and Roel Leal; sisters, Ninfa Guerra, Olivia Longoria and Rosa Guerrero.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Abelardo Ybañez, Sr. (Minerva), Maria Sepeda (Rudy), Barbara Ybañez-Gonzalez (John); grandchildren, Anna Lisa, Sonia, Genny, Abel, Jr., Robert, Clarissa, Nicholas and Leah and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Aiden and Lily. She is also survived by siblings Juan Leal (Mary), Amelia Sauceda (Gilberto) and Minerva Salinas (Nayo). Also missing her will be her companions, Jericho, Dooney and Coco.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly from 5 to 8 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm that same evening.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Hebbronville at 2 pm with interment to follow at New Hebbronville Cemetery.
