Debbie went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 16, 2024. She was surrounded by people who loved her. She was a special gift to many; she reflected the love of Jesus to everyone she met. Friendships encompassed all aspects of life, and each was special to her.
At a young age Debbie and her family moved back to the United States and finally settled in Corpus Christi. She graduated from Richard King High School in 1968. Debbie was an ordained minister who taught children and adults alike. She served in many ministry capacities as a church secretary, bible teacher, and prayer warrior for many years. She loved to speak about the goodness of God. She was a member of the EWC for the last eight years.
Debbie loved to write and was a published author of two books, “Love, Laughter, and Tears” and “God’s Got It”, and was working on her third. She also loved reading, crafts, time with friends, and had a heart of worship. She was most known for creative homemade gifts and decorating for family events.
Debbie married Larry Eddy on July 1, 1978, in Corpus Christi, Texas, and together raised a BIG happy family.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Georgia “Kitty” Corbin; her sister, Sherry Corbin; and her grandson, Steven Sullivan.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years in wedded bliss, Larry Eddy; five children, Lorena Eddy (John Demyan), Lyle Eddy (Belinda), Randy Endsley (Cindi), Julie Lancaster (Joey), and Corey Endsley (Melissa); 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; and siblings, Scott Corbin and David Corbin (Susie).
Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 PM that same afternoon, where services will conclude in the Memory Gardens Chapel.
