

Doris was born on July 28, 1942, in Reading, Pennsylvania. She was a strong and independent woman who valued the relationships she built throughout her life. She was steady, loyal, and deeply loved by those who knew her best.
She loved the beach, treasured her trips to Hawaii, and had a special love for animals. That love was reflected not only in her personal life but also in her work, including service with the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, Pennsylvania, as director of the Humane Society of Corpus Christi, and as manager of Flour Bluff and Tejas Animal Clinics in Corpus Christi.
She found joy in the places and experiences that brought her peace and happiness, and those memories will remain with the family who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Jean Frantz; her child, Cecil Buckwalter; and her grandchildren, Nicole Buckwalter and Lincoln Hearron.
She is survived by her children, Earl Buckwalter Jr., Rodney Buckwalter, and Jennifer Hearron; her sister, Susan Roth; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and other family members and loved ones who will cherish her memory.
Doris will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
