Doris W. McGee O'Neal

Doris W. O'Neal passed away July 4, 2017. She was 84. Doris was born June 24, 1933 in Normangee, Texas and graduated from Mathis High School. She worked in credit and collections for General Electric Credit Corporation and Member's 1st Credit Union (originally Telco) for 40 years before retiring. Doris was a member of Weber Road Church of Christ for many years. She loved being with her family, shopping, being outdoors and going to movies. She was very kindhearted and loved helping others. She was a wonderful wife, mother and Nannie.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, L.B. O'Neal Jr.; parents, James and Lorena McGee; and 2 sisters, Barbara Hendren and Billie McMahon. She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Rhea and a son, James O'Neal. She had six grandchildren, Lisa (Ivan) Valez, Heather (Tony) Wright, Shannon (John) Silvernail, Bryan O'Neal, Josh (Therresa) Rhea and Kimberly O'Neal. She was also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, Eva, Isabella, Ben, Shawn, Stella, Alexandra, Isabela, Xavi, Brian, Dean, Foster, Killian, Carolyn and Josh.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2017. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
