Dorothy Ann Clark Waid, 85, of Portland, Texas, died peacefully in her sleep, February 1, 2019. Dorothy was born on April 14, 1933 in Hughes, Arkansas.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Alvie “Bobby” Waid; parents, Earl and Eva Clark; and brothers, Earl, Tommy and David Clark.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Martha Waid, Karen (Lavell) Lacefield, and Danna (Gary) Hajek; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 12:00 pm with a Graveside Service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery.
