He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abner E. Campbell and his sister, Corece Leston.
Mr. Campbell worked at Suntide/ Koch Industries until 1989. He volunteered at the Rehabilitation Hospital of South Texas, and received the honor of Volunteer of the Year for his dedication. He was loving, strong, generous, and always offered to lend a hand when needed. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda; his daughter, Heather (Eddie) Stobbs; his son, Brenden (Maria) Campbell; his four grandchildren, Ryan Stobbs, Hannah Stobbs, Pablo Campbell and Destiny Campbell; sister, Carol Stites; and extended family member, Todd (Darlene) Pruett.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Campbell will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Old Brownsville Road in Corpus Christi, Texas.
