Eduardo Gonzalez

Eduardo “Eddie” Gonzalez, 83, peacefully passed away in his home on September 16, 2021. He was born June 8, 1938 to Faustino and Petra Gonzalez and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Ray High School (1957), Abilene Christian University (1961), and Tecnologico de Monterrey. He was a Texas History teacher for more than 30 years at Seale Jr. High School in Robstown, Texas. He was also a preacher and an active member of Iglesia de Cristo on Cheyenne Street. Eddie enjoyed fishing with his longtime friend, Felipe Garza, listening to music, reading, studying Texas and Mexican History, and spending time with his family and friends.

Eduardo is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 54 years, Helica Gonzalez. He was a loving father to Eduardo Ⅱ (Ileana) and Helica II (Kristina) Gonzalez and devoted grandfather to Matilda, Samantha and Eduardo Ⅲ Gonzalez.

Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 10:00 am at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St., Corpus Christi, Texas 78408.
