Elena "Helen" Suarez

Maria Elena “Helen” Suarez, age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born August 18, 1939, in Clarkwood, Texas to the late Antonio and Andrea (Dominguez) Gutierrez. She worked as Clerk for Christus Spohn Hospital Physical and Rehabilitation Department for 45 years before retirement.

Helen truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; long walks on Ocean Dr, chatting with family and friends, shopping, trips to casino’s, taking selfies and her love for bingo.

Helen leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Ralph (Sandra) Suarez, Alex (Charlotte) Suarez, Deborah Suarez, Rebecca Suarez and Elizabeth (Martin) Salinas, 10 Grandkids and 13 Great Grandkids.

A visitation for Elena will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78411. A holy rosary will occur Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A church mass will occur Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Ss Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 3210 S Padre Island Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A burial will occur Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:15 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX.
