Elida L. Benavides

Elida was preceded in death by her husband, Reymundo Benavides; mother, Tina B. Lopez and sister, Nelly Benavides.

Elida will be remembered for all her comical stories she loved sharing with anyone that would listen. She loved reading, singing, and dancing to mariachi music. She loved all the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will truly be missed by her sons, daughter and everyone that knew her.

She is survived by her children: Michael (Denise) Benavides, Larry B. (Cynthia) Benavides, Robert Lee Benavides, Armando (Armira) Benavides, and Carmen (Lazaro) B. Zaragoza. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving 13 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren and a family friend, Mary Jane Escamilla.

Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel-Cheyenne with a prayer service at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 10:00 am at Funeraria del Angel Chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
