Eliseo M. Torres Sr.

Our heavenly father called Eliseo M. Torres, Sr. home on April 12, 2013. He was born August 18, 1924 to Feliciano Torres and Luisa Torres. Eliseo had an amazing sense of humor and was known for his easygoing personality. He was a kind and generous person who was always willing to help family, friends, and even strangers. Eliseo was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will dearly be missed by all who knew him.

His loving wife Angelita Torres survives Eliseo, and at the time of his death they were married for 70 years. He leaves behind four children: Edward Torres (Sylvia), Elisa Rodriguez (Robert), Rodolfo Torres (Adelfa), Eliseo M. Torres Jr. (Sylvia), and sister Gloria Ruiz. His 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren adored him. Special thanks to Mark Strauss, M.D and staff, and the staff at Odyssey Hospice for their compassion and kindness.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April16, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening, at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne Street. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 17, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park with military honors.
