Eloisa Castro Salinas

Eloisa Castro Salinas passed away on April 17, 2012 peacefully in her sleep; and is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Eloisa was born to Alejandro and Angelita Castro on October 27, 1928. She was 83 years old. She was a member of Iglesia Evangelica Metodista Libre for several years.

Eloisa is preceded in death by her husband, Merardo Salinas; her parents, Alejandro and Angelita Castro; two brothers, Casiano and Alejandro Castro, Jr. and one sister, Generosa Castro Escamilla.

She is survived by one sister, Guadalupe “Lupita” Frocks of San Diego, CA; one daughter, Angelica Garcia of CA; one son, Jesus Garcia of Corpus Christi; daughter-in-law, Norma Garcia; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Jesus Jr., Joseph Garcia, Noah Garcia of Corpus Christi; three great-grandchildren, Jennessi Garcia, Jesus Garcia III, D’Neeko Perkins, Jayden Garcia,; niece, Diana Escamilla with whom she resided with, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Her family wishes to extend a special thanks to Mayoky Pulido, her caregiver and loyal friend of many years.

The family will be receiving friends and loved ones at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service held that same evening at 7:00 pm. A Chapel service will be held at Funeraria del Angel on Monday, April 23, 2012, officiated by Celestino Green at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
