Enrique M De La Cruz

Enrique M. De La Cruz passed away on August 18, 2016 at the age of 66 in McAllen, TX. He was born on September 11, 1949 in Corpus Christi, TX to the late Moses and Concepcion De La Cruz. Enrique was in the U.S. Army and fought in the Vietnam War where he was wounded earning a Purple Heart.

Enrique is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raul and sister, Belia. He is survived by his children, Monica Navarro (Thomas), Enrique De La Cruz and Albert De La Cruz (Brenda); grandchildren, Roy Garcia, Amanda Navarro, Albert De La Cruz Jr. and Dominic De La Cruz. He is also survived by his siblings, Noe, Angie, Irma, Rose, Amelia, Moses and Olga and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd., on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 3210 S.P.I.D., on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:30 am with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH-37.
