

Ermelinda was born to Lorenzo and Carmen Eureste, May 2, 1946, in Chapman Ranch, Texas. She graduated from Carroll High School in 1964 and received a Stenography Certificate from the Del Mar College. She married Eduardo Ayala in 1971, and they lived together in Corpus Christi, Texas. Together they raised 3 children.
She is survived by: Eduardo Ayala (Husband), Vidal E. Ayala (Son), Carmen Ayala (Daughter). She also leaves to cherish her memory Grandchildren, Xavier, Karina & Emma Ayala. Brother, Ruben Eureste and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Liza Ayala, (Daughter), Lorenzo Eureste, (Father), and Carmen Eureste, (Mother).
Linda worked as a homemaker. Linda enjoyed cooking, sewing, cheering on her favorite baseball team the Houston Astros and catching up with her family and friends. She had a remarkable talent for sewing, creating the most beautiful dresses that reflected her creativity, care and love for others.
A Visitation & Rosary is scheduled for Monday, April 20,2026 , with visitation from 5-9 & a rosary beginning at 7 pm held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home located at 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas.A Catholic Church Ceremony will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 10 AM at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church located at 3502 Saratoga Blvd, Corpus Christi, Texas. The family would also like to thank the Ayala, Eureste, Pimentel, and Garcia families, as well as their dear friends, for being there and for their unwavering support and presence during this time of need.
