Esther Ramirez

Esther Serna Ramirez was born on November 7, 1937. She passed away on November 15, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, Tia, mother ~in~law & friend. She loved the Lord with all her heart, soul & mind. She was married to the late Plutarco Ramirez for 62 years. She was a homemaker and took great pride in being a Christian mother (a prayer warrior) always praying for all her family making sure all of her children served the Lord, not wanting any to perish (2 Peter 3:9).

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio & Angela Serna; her husband, Plutarco Ramirez; sister, Elvira Serna; brothers, David, Richard & Polo Serna.

Survivors include her sisters, Irene Salazar, Mini Vidaurri & Sylvia Alvarez and numerous nieces & nephews. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Elizabeth (Ruben) Garcia, Marcial (Deanna) Ramirez, Sylvia ( Scott) Carlson and her favorite, Samuel Ramirez; 12 grandchildren & 32 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St. Corpus Christi, Texas, 78405, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the Celebration of Life to follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. Corpus Christi, Texas, 78415.
